FC Krasnodar is a Russian professional football club based in Krasnodar that plays in the Russian Premier League

In early 2008, FC Krasnodar successfully completed the licensing process and was granted the license on February 22, 2008, which gives the club the right to participate in competitions for professional teams of the Russian second division.
FC Krasnodar made their debut in the Russian Premier League in the 2011/12 season and immediately finished ninth out of 16 teams.
The following championship finished with the Black Greens in 10th place, although they scored more points and goals than in the two rounds of a previous tournament.
FC Krasnodar, led by Oleg Kononov, who became head coach in early September 2013, finished fifth in the national top league in the 2013/14 season and was awarded the right to debut in the UEFA Europa League.
In the UEFA Europa League playoffs, the Bulls take turns beating JK Sillamäe Kalev of Estonia, Diósgyőri VTK of Hungary and the all-important Royal Society of Spain.
The Black Greens did not make it past the group stage, but the team fought with dignity against such famous European clubs as Everton F.C.
from England, VfL Wolfsburg from Germany and LOSC Lille from France.
After the results of the 2014/15 season, FC Krasnodar won its first medal of the Russian football championship, the bronze medal.
That result allowed the Bulls to compete in the UEFA Europa League for the second year in a row.
The team finished the Russian Football Championship in fourth place and was thus able to participate again in the UEFA Europa League.
The Black Greens reached the semi-finals of the Russian Cup, in the UEFA Europa League they moved from the top of the group to the knockout phase, leaving behind their already strong rival Borussia Dortmund.
FC Krasnodar have made it through the UEFA Europa League group stage for the second year in a row.
The Blacks and Greens finished fourth in the Russian Premier League, qualifying for the UEFA Europa League for the fourth time in a row.
In the 2017/18 season, the team failed to qualify for the UEFA Europa League group stage for the first time when Red Star Belgrade became unsurpassed in the playoffs.
In the end, the Bulls finished fourth again, but this result qualified Blacks and Greens exceptionally directly for the UEFA Europa League group stage.
The Young Bulls showed adequate performance in the UEFA Youth League under the leadership of Murad Musayev, reaching the playoffs there and only losing on penalties to Real Madrid.
In addition, Murad Musayev's players (and Igor Picuşceac when Musayev moved to the first team at the end of the season) won the Russian Premier League youth championship for the first time in club history.
Following the results of the 2018/19 season, FC Krasnodar, led by Murad Musayev, claimed RPL bronze for the second time in club history.
The last third place in the table allowed our team to participate for the first time in the UEFA Champions League.
